With over ten years of experience in developing advocacy and communications campaigns in Brussels, Edinburgh and London, Daphne joined BASF as Head of Public Affairs for the UK and Ireland in July 2022. Responsible for engaging with governments and parliaments across the UK, Daphne’s work focuses on ensuring the policy and regulatory environment for the chemicals industry supports a sustainable transition to net zero. BASF aims to reach net zero by 2050 and in the UK, in addition to six manufacturing sites, it supplies raw materials to most industries, including agriculture, automotive, chemicals, construction, energy and pharmaceuticals.
